New Engineered Door Panels
A new range of engineered door panels offering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties, valuable labour savings and a seamless appearance are now available from Timbmet Silverman.
The door panels are ready to fit first time, eliminating the need for any return site visits, and are ideal for customers with energy saving requirements.
The new range includes 28mm foam-filled panels which are ideal for tongue and groove doors. Designed to be cut to size and suitable for grooving if required, the panels consist of an 8mm central PUR foam layer, two surrounding 4mm layers of ply and two 6mm solid exterior layers.
45mm cork-filled door panels are also available which are ideal for raised and fielded panels. Consisting of a 17mm inner cork layer and two 14mm solid exterior layers, the panels are designed to be cut down to size.
The 28mm door panel is available in 1800 x 800mm sheets, the 45mm panel is available in 1800mm x 900mm sheets and both ranges are supplied 1800mm x 1200mm. All are available in Redwood, European Oak, Sapele and Iroko.
External MDF versions are also available in sheet sizes of 2440mm x 1200mm, which are ideal for painting.
